 The Good News Class

Want to hear some really Good News?
Come to the Good News Class
What is the Good News Class?
The Good News Class consists of people meeting together and exploring Scriptures with Pastor Rob. Ten weekly sessions look at topics like 'Who is Jesus?', 'Why and how do I pray?' and other basics of the Christian faith. There is time for people to discuss, integrate and apply what they have learned. The classes are ninety minutes long and child care is available.
Who is the Good News Class for?
This course is open to everyone who would like to attend. The Good News Class is designed for people who aren't churchgoers as well as for those who attend church but want to be refreshed in the essentials of the Christian faith.
Guests come for a wide variety of reasons - some want to investigate whether God exists; others are concerned about what happens after death. Some people have particular questions that they would like to discuss; others want to understand other peoples' beliefs or would like to explore the purpose of life. Some want to know more about what the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) teaches and how that compares with the Bible.
Many guests have never been to church, others may have attended church occasionally but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith. Some have not been baptized are interested in learning more about the meaning of Christian baptism and church membership. Regular church attendees often come for renewal.
Our next Good News Class series begins on Sunday, September 12th at 5pm in the lower level of the Christian Learning Center (CLC). There is no need to register for the first class – just come! You can contact Pastor Rob at 763-3281 for more information or to sign up for childcare. We would be pleased to have you attend.
