Christin Kreuder - Confirmed In Christ

Here is what Christin has to say about her confirmation at Our Savior.

Jesus means a lot to me. He sacrificed himself for me, and forgives me and takes my sins away. When I started having trouble in school, I turned to Jesus, and I believe he helped me through it.

Let me share with you one way that I had the opportunity to share my faith with others in school. I had a project to do, and I could choose from many different topics. I researched religious leaders, main religions, and churches in Germany and in Austria. I was able to talk about Martin Luther, who brought Christianity to the countries. While others in my class researched sports or food as a subject, I was able to talk about Martin Luther.  It didn't bother me what others say, I stand up for my faith.

I chose Mathew 28:20b as my confirmation verse.  It says, "Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." This life verse explains that Jesus and God are with me forever, and I have them near me in different times when I need help.

I plan to continue to grow in my faith. A couple ways I can grow in faith are pretty much by praying daily, sharing the Word of the Lord, and being an active Christian.                                                                                                                                                                                                -- Christin Kreuder
