In September of 2008, Hope Lutheran Church, Wake Forest, NC will team up with Our Savior Lutheran Church, Burlington, WI to send 12 individuals on a mission trip to Guatemala. One of the tasks that the team will be engaged in is running a Vacation Bible School (VBS) for children that live on or near “The Dump” in Guatemala City and also in Amatilan. The theme for the VBS is “Building Hope in Guatemala.” Greg Joslyn and Debra Schowengerdt are gathering supplies for the work. Please keep them and the team in your prayers as they bring good news of Jesus to children and adults.
